Big Morning Buzz Live’s music performances blew fans away this season. The show’s staff was also starstruck by the guests, and they’ve told us their favorite appearances from the recent cycle.

Watch the performances in our video gallery, but first, read about the live sets that got the most accolades.

Sasha Allen — Band leader Rob Lewis said, “I didn’t realize how much I liked it until I watched it back at home. It looks and sounds big. A string section, a 7 foot grand piano, a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice out front.” Hair stylist Betsey Reyes, assistant Olivia Boyd, and music producer Laura Nieder enthusiastically agreed.

Avery Sunshine — Tommy Aniano, live music production manager, said the R&B singer was “the most classy musician” from this season. “Rarely do you get to hear raw talent where a singer moves your soul and silences the studio,” added producer Dillon Couvillon.

The Doobie Brothers — Producers Devin Delliquanti and Dylan Unger, along with graphics coordinator Michael Delevan, thought the Doobie Brothers brought acoustic heat. “I always loved [“Long Train Runnin’”] by such a cool and iconic band, and it was a major treat to see it performed live. Then, to have Nick join to sing vocals with them made it such a wonderful moment,” said Delliquanti.
