This 9-year old Japanese guitar prodigy has made grown shredders cry with her nimbly executed Racer X covers. She’s such an internet sensation that Racer X guitarist Paul Gilbert even invited her to join his online guitar school for free, and that’s saying something considering he knows a thing or two about shredding.
Scallon has racked up millions of views and over 200,000 subscribers to his YoYouTube channel with his bluegrass Slayer covers to his original compositions on the 8 string guitar. Always impressive, inventive and often completely hilarious, he ain’t no kid, but he’s at the top of the list of YouTube shredders anyway you cut it.
Unlocking The Truth
Since getting discovered via Youtube videos of their street performances, this barely teenage Brookyln trio has been on The Colbert Report, appeared at the Coachella music festival and inked a deal with Sony Music Entertainment.
This 15-year old French guitarist made jaws drop last year with her flawless cover Eddie Van Halen‘s shred symphony “Eruption” and continues to impress, here tackling one of Yngwie Malmsteen’s best known tunes.
Under the Youtube user name 331Erock, this aspiring guitarist has amassed over a million Youtube followers with his shredded out tv show theme songs and atypical covers such as a metal version of Maroon 5’s “Animals.”
This young Brazilian guitarist has showed off her chops in a variety of styles on YouTube, when not playing as a solo artist and with the Sao Paulo band Replace.
This young French shredder can play along with even the most difficult John 5 songs and also fronts her own band who have over 70,000 followers on Facebook.
