KISS may not be the most wholesome band but they still enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning like the rest of us. Folgers Coffee must have had similar sentiments until they changed their mind last minute.
Guitarist Paul Stanley of KISS was asked to do a Folgers commercial that never made it to air because according to the KISS fan who dug up this lost artifact, “[The] ultra conservative parent company, Proctor and Gamble shelved out of concern regarding being associated with KISS.” Too bad this isn’t the first time KISS has been in a swarm of controversy.
