Garth Brooks Brings Out The Southern Boy In Justin Timberlake During "Friends In Low Places" Duet

Fans enjoyed the best night of their lives when Justin Timberlake welcomed surprise guest and Country legend Garth Brooks to perform "Friends In Low Places" during his 20/20 Tour Nashville stop. Even though fans have loved JT as a pop sensation for many years, true fans know of his southern roots and can say this duet was nothing short of spectacular.

I saw an ENTERTAINER tonight! @justintimberlake #Justinrcredible

During the performance, Brooks took a quick Instagram video to capture the incredible moment of a sold out show with a massive crowd singing along to his 1990's hit.

One of my IDOLS. Garth... You are a MASTER of your craft. I am in awe of you, still.

Weeks earlier, Timberlake posted a photo that was his way of hinting at the future duet. Clearly, Timberlake wanted this to be a big surprise because the caption does not give away what would happen in the future. Kudos to you JT, for keeping such a juicy secret.

It's been an amazing journey for Timberlake since NSYNC and going solo. Take a look back at this vintage clip of a young JT talking about leaving his band members to pursue more creative freedom as a solo artist.
