The band who once sang "It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll" are proving once again that which doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Despite losing founding guitarist Malcolm Young and enduring the ongoing legal woes of drummer Phil Rudd this year, Australian hard rockers AC/DC continue to move from triumph to triumph. Their new album Rock or Bust went #1 worldwide and now the long running boogiemeisters have been announced as headliners of that hippest of all musical events, California's Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival.

There's no telling how the bearded and bespectacled indie rockers will react to the band's onslaught of hard rock riffage, however, who doesn't like AC/DC? Also headlining nights at the festival will be ex-Whites Stripes rootsy weirdo Jack White  and crooning rapper Drake. Tickets for the festival, which runs over the weekends of April 10th - 12th and 17 - 19th, will go on sale tomorrow at 12 pm Pacific Time at the Coachella website.
