Feel Good Friday: 'American Idol' Hopeful Covers "Stay With Me" + Scores A Slow Dance With J-Lo

I have a dark secret I need to get off my chest: I still freaking love American Idol. But that’s neither here nor there. The important thing is that you watch this glorious clip from the first round of auditions in Keith Urban's hometown of Nashville. When Idol hopeful Michael Simeon stepped in front of judges with THOSE BLUE EYES (#swoon) to sing Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me,” he crooned his way into the hearts of every single person in America. But he was just getting started.

Once he got the golden ticket to Hollywood (duh!), he asked Jennifer Lopez for a slow dance that she couldn’t refuse. Talk about swag! Fellow judges Harry Connick, Jr. and Keith Urban couldn’t help but jump in to contribute to this truly magical moment which will surely go down in Idol history.
