Lil Wayne Drops 'Sorry For The Wait 2' Mixtape, Breaks "Prisoner" Chains
Lil Wayne feels like a prisoner to his Cash Money label, but he broke free of something last night. As promised, Wayne dropped his mixtape, Sorry For The Wait 2, and featured on it are Drake, Riff Raff, Christina Milian, Mack Maine, and 2 Chainz.
The Twitter handle @LilWayneHQ announced the release of the mixtape last night. Lil Wayne has yet to comment via his own Twitter handle.

The mixtape includes remixes of Rae Sremmurd's "No Type and Bobby Shmurda's "Hot N-gga," as well as a remix of Beyonce's "Drunk In Love," in which Christina Milian replaces "surfboardt" with "skateboardt." What would Bey say?
We're not sure if Sorry For The Wait 2 is a sign that Tha Carter V has been scrapped altogether or if its a placeholder for the album. In the mixtape, Lil Wayne claims that there's "No Cash Money, just Young Money shit," tearing down any hopes of reconciliation between Lil Wayne and Birdman. He also insists "you won't be sorry," over and over again.
So maybe Tha Carter V is kaput. Maybe not. Either way, there's new Lil Wayne to be heard. Stream it below.
