Doctors Fear For Bobbi Kristina's Recovery After Minutes Without Air

Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, is in intensive care at North Fulton Hospital in Georgia after being found face-down in a bathtub by her husband Nick Gordon on Saturday morning. The 21-year-old has "very little brain activity," according to People, who spoke with a source close to the family.

Brown is able to breathe with the aid of a ventilator, but it's unclear what her chances of full recovery are. It's unknown how long Brown was without oxygen, but as Dr. Eli Zimmerman of Massachusetts General Hospital told People, "Even minutes [without air] can be grim."

A recovery for Brown, if it's possible, would be a miracle, according to the source. For the time being, Zimmerman suggests that Brown's family not make any rash decisions.

"I always tell families not to make decisions when they're under stress," he told People. "It's okay to have doctors or nurses take care of loved ones for a few days."

Bobby Brown is devastated about his daughter's condition.

"This is his worst nightmare," a source told People. "Losing Whitney was hard, but this is a million times worse, and to lose her in the same way would devastate him."

Thoughts and prayers are with Brown and her family.
