Annie Lennox joined Hozier on stage tonight while he sang his breakout hit "Take Me To Church." This was Hozier's year to shine, but during his performance tonight, Lennox shone brighter.
Lennox sang "I Put A Spell On You," which appears in her 2014 album Nostalgia, though it's originally by Screamin' Jay Hawkins. Lennox, 60 years old, has years of musical experience under her belt, and standing next to YOK alum and Grammy rookie Hozier, it became clear that she was showing all the young pop stars, including Madonna, how it's really done.
In case you missed, check out Annie Lennox's performance at tonight's awards show, and peep what some people had to say about it on Twitter.

Madonna is 56. Annie Lennox 60. But which seemed the more current, relevant singer tonight, as well as the one most comfortable in her skin? — stuart emmrich (@StuartEmmrichNY) February 9, 2015
Whose performance did you like better: Annie Lennox's or Madonna's?
