Ed Sheeran Stands Up For Bullied 'X Factor' Contestant

Ed Sheeran has a heart full of love. He donated his Grammy clothes to charity a few weeks ago, and now, the singer is reaching out to an X Factor contestant who was the subject of a recent bullying debacle on the show.

British pop singer Natalia Kills and husband Willy Moon were taken off of the X Factor's roster of judges after bullying a contestant named Joe Irvine on live television, according to NME. Kills was seemingly offended that Irvine looked so much like her husband and proceeded to call him a "laughing stock." She tried to anchor her feelings in "creative integrity," but in the end, she and Moon, who compared Irvine to Robert Bloch's fictional character Norman Bates, took things too far.

Like the heaven-sent, down-to-earth man that he is, Ed Sheeran reached out to Irvine via Twitter. Sheeran told him not to worry about the judges' remarks, and to stay focused on the music.
