Watch the Geeks Take Charge in the Trailer for 'Dope'

Just geeks doing what geeks do.

Dope is the story of self-proclaimed "'90s hip-hop geek" Malcolm as he tries to leave Inglewood for college, with a brief stop at an accidental drug deal — not really the straight-A student's forte. From the writer and director of The Wood, Rick Famuyiwa, the film stars a bunch of up and comers, like Shameik Moore who plays Malcolm with a phenomenal hi-top fade, Tony Revolori who recently starred in The Grand Budapest Hotel, Kiersey Clemons who currently plays Winston's anti-cop love interest on New Girl, as well as Zoë Kravitz, A$AP Rocky, Chanel Iman, and Workaholics star Blake Anderson.

The movie ignited a bidding war after a big Sundance premiere and we can't wait to see it for ourselves when it hits theaters June 19.
