Whoa, the Muppets Have More Street Cred Than We Thought

Don't mess with the Muppets, man.

Kermit, Fozzy Bear and the gang just proved their badassery thanks to a skilled YouTuber named Animal Robot. Using crazy editing #skillz, Animal gave N.W.A.'s "Express Yourself" video a much, erm, greener reinvention. And by that, we mean it's now starring the Muppets. Yaas.

We don't know how Animal did it, but it's like the Muppets were always the ones singing "Express Yourself." Who knew Fozzy was such an amazing rapper? And, finally, Kermit's banjo skills have some street cred. Bless.

With the N.W.A. film Straight Outta Compton dominating the box office and a new Muppets show slated for fall, this little mashup feels very relevant. Props, Animal! You're a total slay god.
