This Iconic Store Owner Prepared for Sword-Wielding Robbers with a Sword of His Own

Let me paint this picture for you. Two dudes (with one machete) pop into a Pittsburgh mini-mart hellbent on robbing the joint. Except they don't get very far, because the store owner pulls out his own (much bigger) sword and scares them off. Sounds like fiction, right? Nope. This is an actual thing that actually happened. Actually.

According to a Philadelphia NBC affiliate, this incident went down last Friday. One robber pulled out a machete and ordered the store owner to give up some cash. But the manager had other plans. And by plans, we mean a big-ass sword.

In the video, you can see the owner chase the hooligans out of the store with his sword, cementing his status as an icon.
