Oscars 2013: Jennifer Hudson Gives Oscar Advice To Quvenzhane Wallis

Our Oscar Night Live red carpet special just wrapped, but just moments before it did, the most adorable red carpet moment of the night went down right in front of our cameras. We've already been ooh-ing and aah-ing over the precious Quvenzhane Wallis and her puppy purse, but when our own Janell Snowden introduced the 9-year-old Best Actress nominee to Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson, it was one of those magical moments that we're lucky to be able to relive over and over again.
The interview started off with Janell asking Quvenzhane Wallis if she's gonna brag to her classmates when she gets back to school next week. "I'm not gonna blab about it, but it's all been fun," Q explained. "I don't do Show and Tell." And about that puppy purse? "I've brought it everywhere since I was in Sundance, Utah. I just brought it everywhere. The old one is always all over the place, so I don't bring it around as much. This is renamed after my dog that's at home."
It was at that moment that Jennifer Hudson walked over, and after a few brief moments where the two introduced themselves to the other, J-Hud was asked to impart some advice to the youngest Best Actress nominee of all time. "There are not many in her position," she began. "All I can say is just stay humble, and live in every bit of this moment, and get used to having Academy Award winner ahead of your name."
Whether or not Quvenzhane wins the Best Actress prize tonight or not, one thing is certain: She has won the affection of everyone in America watching the Oscars tonight!
