Diddy Opens Up About His "Quest To Stop Wetting The Bed"

Founding his own brand of bottled water must have settled an old personal vendetta for Diddy. The rap mogul made a touching/hilarious confession on Ellen today: the chronic fan used to be a chronic bed wetter.

"I grew up as a Kool-Aid kid," he told the host while sitting next to AQUAhydrate co-founder Mark Wahlberg. "I used to pour a half a pound of sugar into the Kool-Aid. Besides it having me bouncing off the walls, I used to be a bed wetter." Diddy knew he couldn't let that one drop without giving a few follow-up deets. "OK, I guess I'm confessing that I used to be a bed wetter. So I went on this quest to stop wetting the bed, and the first day that I had a sleepover and I didn't wet the bed, it was, like, one of the greatest days of my life."

He even credits the "quest" for making him the millionaire mogul he became! "It gave me the swagger that I have today because I stopped wetting the bed." That's pretty true, it must be pretty hard to have swag with a big wet spot on your PJs. And don't get us started on the smell. J-Lo probably wouldn't have been into that.

Diddy then took a moment to give a helpful PA to the youth of America. "There is something about sugar that makes you wet the bed. So to all you boys and girls out there, as Muhammad Ali used to tell you brush your teeth, I'm telling you to drink water, OK? It will stop you from wetting the bed, and you won't be embarrassed in front of the girls at sleepovers." We don't really remember being allowed to have sleepovers with girls, at least when we were at bed-wetting age.  But that's still pretty good advice.
