Taylor Swift Slams Amy & Tina, Lets A Friend Dish About Harry Styles To Vanity Fair

A fresh-faced Taylor Swift covers next month’s Vanity Fair. In the magazine, she apparently says “there’s a special place in Hell for women” like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, calls the media’s twisting of her dating life “sexist,” and refuses to dish on her relationship with Harry Styles, but authorizes a friend to gab all to the interviewer.

When asked about how she felt about the jokes Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made at her expense at The Golden Globes, Swift weirdly replied, “You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people...Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.’” Ouch.

Throughout the profile, Swifty seems to want to have it both ways. She decries the media's portrait of her as "some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend" as "frankly a little sexist", but then she lets "an authorized source", aka a best friend, spill all of the beans on her relationships with Harry Styles and Connor Kennedy to Vanity Fair contributing editor Nancy Jo Sales.

Styles reportedly "wore her down" for almost a year. Ultimately it was Styles's cheating ways that drove Taylor away. According to Tay-Tay's pal, "the relationship fell apart after he texted Swift to alert her of a picture on the Internet of him kissing a friend good-bye. They were 'making out like with their hands all up in each other’s hair.'"

Overall, it seems as though Swift lacks a tiny bit of self awareness. Take this line for instance: “As she sits drinking lavender lemonade in her 'Tim Burton–Alice in Wonderland–pirate ship–Peter Pan' apartment, Swift continues, 'It’s why I have to avoid the tabloid part of our culture, because they turn you into a fictional character.”

And this is all from a single excerpt from the profile! The full article hits newsstands in the April 2013 edition of Vanity Fair magazine. We can hardly wait.
