First Dibs: Is Downton Abbey Doomed?

What’s so weird about Kendall Jenner’s New York Times profile? Why are people giving Amy Adams a hard time? And how is Henry Cavill coping with becoming the Man of Steel?

  • Downton Abbey mastermind Julian Fellowes might have to leave (and end) the series to work on an American based prequel called The Giilded Age on NBC. However, Fellowes seems confident that Downton Abbey still has legs, but its future does seem to depend upon how long NBC will wait for Fellowes to wrap up and cross the pond (and how many of its actors it can keep from jumping ship). • Amy Adams is one of the many moms in Hollywood, but apparently she doesn’t want more than one child–and that upsets people. She told Chelsea Handler, “They’re like, ‘Don’t you want to give her a sibling?’ But I had so many siblings that I’m like, ‘God, no!’” [Celebitchy]
  • Henry Cavill is about to step into the shoes of Superman and as he tells MTV News, it’s kind of a big deal:
