Will You Love North West? 5 Other Celeb Baby Names That Grew On Us

We definitely need a minute to get used to the fact that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian named their daughter North West. (Especially since we were sure they were going with Khrist!) But maybe after the initial shock subsides, we'll learn to love that adorable pun. After all, we're now totally down with these celeb names that made us go, "Ugh, celebrities" when they were first announced.

Moon Unit Zappa: Frank Zappa's daughter, born in 1967, is the epitome of flower child names. But if it weren't for her spacey name, she would probably fade from memory.

Rumer Willis: What were Bruce Willis and Demi Moore thinking, naming their first daughter after a synonym for gossip? Actually, she was named after novelist Rumer Godden, and now we think it has a nice ring to it. Irony be damned.

Apple Martin: Like North, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's daughter (now 9), seemed to be cursed with her punny name. But she single-handedly reinvigorated the trend of celebs giving their kids more unique monikers.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz: While others were naming their sons and daughter Brooklyn all over the place, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz chose a less-celebrated New York borough (good thing they didn't go with Staten Island). Combined with his Jungle Book middle name reference, it's a little bit on the silly side, but it also has pretty awesome rock and roll potential.

Now tell us, do you think little NW will join this list?
