GIF Booth: Your Favorite Emmy Nominees On 'Sesame Street'

On Friday, Sesame Street released a video of Peter Dinklage (Game Of Thrones) visiting the show to teach kids about "Simon Says." His segment prompted us to think back on all the times that our favorite Emmy nominees made guest appearances on the series. And we were surprised by just how many stopped by: everyone from Alec Baldwin to Julia Louis-Dreyfus have made their way down to Sesame Street.

1. Alec Baldwin, 30 Rock

Baldwin teaches kids about tricycles in a segment that feels like a Jack Donaghy spoof.

2. Ty Burrell, Modern Family

Everything that Phil err Ty does is just adorkable.

3. Peter Dinklage, Game of Thrones

In a segment about "Simon Says," Dinklage shows off some serious eye acting. Those are Emmy-winning movements.

4. Edie Falco, Nurse Jackie

Sadly, video of Falco's visit to the set doesn't exist online. But we are sure the mood was much lighter than Nurse Jackie.

5. Tiny Fey, 30 Rock

Oddly enough, Fey looks about as thrilled as Liz Lemon at a beach party to be in this pirate costume.

6. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Modern Family

Cookie Monster delivers the scares during a segment about the word "fragile." Oh Ferguson, such a scaredy cat.

7. Heidi Klum, Project Runway

The best part about Klum's appearance on the show is how much effort she puts into speaking English.

8. Jon Hamm, Mad Men

Back when Hamm had a beard (let's take a moment to remember those scruffy days), he was teaching kids about sculptures.

9. Neil Patrick Harris, Host

The 2013 Emmy Awards host visited Elmo for an epic dance session. Sadly, we weren't invited.

10. Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Veep

In what has to be the best moment on the set of Sesame Street, JLD says "sh--" in front of Elmo.

11. Jim Parsons, Big Bang Theory

Parsons is apparently scared of spiders. But who can blame him? So are we!

12. Mandy Patinkin, Homeland

Patinkin is the only actor on this list who appeared on the show as an actor not a guest star. Here he is as Officer George helping Big Bird find his dog.

13. Amy Poehler, Parks and Recreation

Elmo challenges Amy Poehler to a head pat and tummy rubbing contest. Man, she's concentrating awfully hard.

14. Sofia Vergara, Modern Family

While there have been a number of great stars, the only time we have been jealous of Elmo was when he got to hug Sofia Vergara.
