Some celebrity couples are bigger than the sum of their parts. Even after they’re kaput. For these dynamic duos, it doesn’t matter how many years have passed since the breakup, how many marriages they’ve endured, or how much their star has risen or fallen — we’ll always root for them stop being silly and get back together, already. Honestly, is there anyone more right for Ryan Gosling than Rachel McAdams?

Has or will Chilli ever find a soulmate who’ll trump Usher? And really — come on, really — do you think for one second that Johnny Depp is more obsessed with Amber Heard than he was with Winona Ryder? It’s doubtful.

Lately, we’ve heard some encouraging news. There were tabloid reports earlier this year that Rachel and Ryan might reconcile. And even though J.T.’s very married to Jessica Biel, we thought it was adorbs that Brit recently admitted to Ellen that when she used to play spin the bottle with her Mickey Mouse Club cast, no matter where the bottle spun, she’d only kiss Justin. Aww!

Here, the superstar exes we wish would drop everything and go running back into each other’s arms.
