- Following some very public flack about not having a black female cast member, Saturday Night Live is finally branching out and adding Sasheer Zamata to the lineup. The New York-based comedian is set to make her SNL debut on January 18. And not to pat ourselves on the back, but she was totally on our shortlist for African-American comedians who would kick butt on SNL. [Deadline]
