Ahead of its theatrical release, G.B.F. has shared an exclusive clip with VH1. The movie tells the story of two closeted best friends Tanner, (Michael J. Willett, United States Of Tara) and Brent (Paul Iacono,The Hard Times Of R.J. Berger). While Brent longs for popularity, it’s Tanner who catches the school’s attention when he is accidentally outed. Soon the three most popular girls in school fight to land Tanner as their gay best friend. In the clip above, Tanner unites the queen bees (Sasha PietersePretty Little LiarsXosha RoquemorePrecious; and Andrea Bowen, Desperate Housewives) in a "reveal" that recalls the iconic entrance from Jawbreaker.

Because both movies share the same director (Darren Stein) it comes as no surprise there's a reference to the scene, which turns 15 years old this month. In fact, when asked about the scene made famous by Rose McGowan and Rebecca Gayheart (also in G.B.F.), the cast reveals they didn't study Jawbreaker so much as build up anticipation to getting their chance to recreate it.

"I just don’t think people ever really get to do that," Bowen says. "The chances of you getting to slow mo walk with a wind machine with music playing. As a girl, it just doesn’t happen except in your dreams. I think it was each of our favorite day."

"We were like, ‘Just get here! We just want to slow mo!’" Roquemore recalls being on set.

While Ellie Goulding's smash hit, "Anything Can Happen," takes the place of Imperial Teen's "Yoo Hoo," the cast also reveals which song is their ideal slow-motion jam.

"Maybe 'Brick House,'" Bowen says before Roquemore adds: "Anything Beyonce!"
