"My feeling on a red carpet is, I heard Tom Hanks is going to be here, Ben Kingsley's going to be here, so I'm like, I'm going to get out of everybody's way," Supernatural's Jared Padalecki told VH1 News' Kate Spencer on the red carpet of the Critics' Choice Awards last night. "You realize that we're just simply warming them up," Jensen Ackles chimed in. Oh, how wrong you are, boys.

No, during these months leading up to the Oscars, Tom Hankses and Ben Kingsleys are a dime a dozen. It's the Winchester boys --- who presented at the show, which aired on the CW --- who are rarer creatures. And Kate wasn't about to let them humbly get out of the way. She chatted with them about their superfans and their critics, and their answers were about as charming as you'd expect.

Who are their harshest critics? "Myself," they both answered.

"No, I'm harder on you," Jared told his onscreen bro. "In fact, you're wrong. Bad job."

"I don't listen to him," Jensen said. "I wait for the weekly phone call, when the show's running, from my father, who gives me a thumbs up or a thumbs down. Rarely a thumbs down, but it's something that I look forward to."

Awwww! Enjoy the rest of the interview (uncut) in the video above. And here's what the other celebrities at the show had to say about their critics.
