The 2014 Oscars happened two days ago and we're already over them. Who cares if American Hustle was shut out or if Leonardo DiCaprio deserved to win Best Actor over Matthew McConaughey? All we want to know is which films and which of our favorite actors are going to be in the running for an Oscar next year. Believe it or not, stars like Meryl Streep, Emma Stone and Benedict Cumberbatch are already in the 2015 Oscar race.

It might seem extremely premature to try and predict who will be nominated for an Oscar in 2015, and it is. However, if a film features more than one Oscar winning actor, has a big director behind it, is due to be released around Christmas (and is about a real person and/or World War II), you can bet that its producers look at it as Oscar bait.

The fifteen films on this early Oscars list all have a number of those qualities, but that doesn't mean they'll make it to the big event next year. Anything can happen during an Oscar race. An unknown independent film can storm a film festival, a director can make a major public faux pas or a heavily-hyped movie can just plain suck.

That said, if we had to put money on anything right now, it would be that we're going to see Meryl Streep back at the Oscars next year for her work in Into The Woods. Like, come on! It's in the bag...
