Jennifer Lawrence and Shailene Woodley might be the newest It Girls in Hollywood, but Emma Watson has consistently been atop our list of dream best friends since we first met her on the Hogwarts Express. We've loved her in everything from the Harry Potter series that made her a star to 2013's The Bling Ring, which proved she could tackle edgier material and master the now iconic cadence of a former reality star. Watson has grown to become one of the strongest young actresses around, as well as an effervescent style icon we'd love to meet for coffee. Or wine. Or manicures. Or whatever she has time for! Really, we're not needy.

Watson currently stars in Noah, an iconic bible story re-imagined for the big screen, opposite Oscar winners Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly. While Darren Aronofsky's big-budget biblical adaptation deserves all the attention, we couldn't resist asking her about the never-ending reports that she'll soon play Ariel in Sofia Coppola's live adaptation of The Little Mermaid. Which really means we couldn't help but put our favorite Hogwarts and Brown University student to the test with a little game of Fact or Fiction on the red carpet at the film's New York premiere.
