Reality stars are not immune to drama. In fact, if they’re interested in keeping their jobs, they’re expected to create it! Ever since the first table-throws, girl fights, and screaming matches went down in in reality history, the stars that got the most shine were — hmm, how do we say this? — the lively ones. But these days, the most entertaining antics seems to happen when the cameras aren’t rolling.
Take Mimi Faust’s ShowerGate scandal. Onscreen, the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star holds our attention as a screechy single mother who’s constantly battling baby-dady foolishness. But offscreen, she swings off of shower rods in a leaked sex tape with her boyfriend Nikko! Of course, we’ll all be checking out season 3 (which premiered Monday night) for on-camera updates on the slickly produced “amateur” porn. Similarly, Dean McDermott of Lifetime’s Tori & Dean admitted earlier this year to cheating on his wife…flagrantly (with five different women). Tori finally confronted him with the cameras rolling on last night’s premiere of True Tori — we can only imagine how this will play out on the series.
