Earlier this month, Spike Lee reportedly inked a deal to revamp his breakthrough film, She's Gotta Have It, by creating a TV show based on the flick. Obviously, this won't be the first time we've seen a series that's been adapted from a popular movie. However, we have to be real — those shows don't have the best track record.
