Last Lap: Get An Exclusive First Look At 'Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes'

Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino was arrested today at a tanning salon, Allstate releases a new gay-friendly commercial and Mark Ruffalo hints at another Hulk installment.

  • Note to selves: do not mess with big, scary, talking animals. In Dawn of Planet of the Apes, the apes are at war with the humans, and they are not giving up their fight. Andy Serkis reprises his role as Caesar, alongside Keri Russell and Jason Clarke, and MTV has an exclusive early scene that's just a preview of the highly tense dynamic between the humans and the apes, which, by the way, seem to be more than just apes to us... The bound-to-be epic installment hits theaters July 11. [MTV News]

  • Someone took GTL a little too seriously. Apparently, former Jersey Shore star Mike Sorrentino got into a brawl at a New Jersey tanning salon... with his own brother. After getting a 911 call, police took the 31-year-old into custody. Don't worry, you can get more of this action on the upcoming TV Guide Network series, The Sorrentinos, premiering July 15. Should be interesting. [People]
  • Allstate is embracing the LGBT community, and we are loving it!  The insurance company has debuted their newest commercial with an original song "Safe In My Hands." The ad is very sweet and touching and we love seeing change happen before our eyes! [E!]
  • Is Mark Ruffalo ready to get green again? Although nothing is set in stone, the actor said Marvel was considering taking on another Hulk movie. How does Ruffalo feel about the possible project? "I look forward to going down that road, if we could crack that nut,” he said. [Just Jared]
