First Dibs: Is Shia LaBeouf Totally Losing It?

NYC may be the new Hollywood, Courteney Cox announces her engagement and what does Transformers director Michael Bay have to say about the haters?

  • We know Shia LaBeouf likes being in front of the camera, but we're not sure he makes the best audience member. Last night, he was arrested for disorderly conduct from yelling obscenities during the broadway show Cabaret in NYC. Apparently, he gave the police a tough time and continued acting "irrationally" while being arrested. The 28-year-old was spotted today after being released from custody, and looked in rare form. • Will the glitz and glamour of TV and movie filming move from the west to east coast? Possibly! New reports show that in the 2013-2014 development cycle, 24 1-hour dramas were shot in the Big Apple while 19 were shot in LA. 52% of pilot production took place in LA last year, but six years ago, it was 82%! Watch out, the east coast may be the new best coast! • Yesterday, Courteney Cox took to Twitter to announce her engagement to musician Johnny McDaid. The 50-year-old Cougar Town star may be taking her role to heart, as her husband-to-be is 37! Congrats you two crazy kids! [E!]
  • Haters gon' hate. At least that's how Transformers director Michael Bay feels. In fact, he's down for some tension as the next installment premieres. "They love to hate, and I don’t care; let them hate... They’re still going to see the movie!" We like his attitude! [MTV News]
