Last Lap: Does Channing Tatum Really Have A “Dramatic” Side?

Jennifer Aniston is as raunchy as ever in the Horrible Bosses 2 trailer, Lucy Hale explains her “uncomfortable” Fifty Shades of Grey audition and Nicki Minaj takes to Twitter to silence the haters.

  • The hunky Channing Tatum is showing us a completely different side of himself. An exact 180 degrees from Magic Mike’s male stripper, if you will. In the trailer for his new film Foxcatcher, we see Tatum in his very serious and intense role as the Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz. Serious or not, we can’t wait to see him on the big screen again in November. [TIME]
  • The boys are back in town! Well, on November 26 they will be. That’s right, Charlie Day, Jason Bateman and Jason Sudeikis are back to stir up some trouble and take care of unfinished business in Horrible Bosses 2. The sex-crazed Jennifer Aniston is even raunchier in the sequel than the first time around and of course, Dean “MotherF**kah” Jones (Jamie Foxx) makes his cameo. [ABC News]
  • Although they’re both scandalous, Fifty Shades of Grey may be a big leap from ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars. 25-year-old actress Lucy Hale recently opened up about auditioning for a role in the film and what the process was like. Although she didn’t get into the S&M details, she said: “It was sort of one of those things where you just had to go for it or you’re just gonna look lame — hopefully, I didn’t look lame.” [Yahoo!]
  • After a whirlwind of a night at the BET Awards, including Nicki Minaj’s acceptance speech for Best Female Hip Hop Artist, we’re still scratching our heads over what she had to say. After general speculation that Nicki was dissing fellow rapper Iggy Azalea, emphasizing that she always writes her own lyrics, she finally took to Twitter today to hush the public: “I’ve congratulated Iggy on the success of Fancy, publicly. She should be very proud of that. All the women nominated should b proud.” [MTV News]
