Once upon a time they were just two A-list socialites, children of the super rich and mega-famous. But when Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton turned in their Louboutins in exchange for overalls on The Simple Life, we were immediately hooked. Between cow-tipping and sex tapes, the storied friendship of Nicole and Paris has become a huge, weirdly addicting pop culture phenomenon.

Their FOX reality show gave birth to one of a kind life advice (such as stuffing your bra to make more friends), the "Sanasa" song, and hilarious banter. We all know Nicole and Paris have had a bumpy past — which includes One Night in Paris and jail time — and after the reality TV attention began to fade, the two began leading separate lives. So are they still in touch? Paris is still making music (see video below), but will Nicole make a cameo in one of her upcoming music videos? Can we expect to see Paris on Candidly Nicole? On a recent episode of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, Nicole gave us hope, explaining that Paris will always be in her life: "I love her and her family and have a lot of respect for them."
