'The Walking Dead' Characters Who Just Need To Die Already

With the return of The Walking Dead, we are reminded that going into season 5 some characters who died in the graphic novels have lived long healthy lives on the show. Also, some characters have just overstayed their welcome.

When Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) became too much for viewers to handle, the show responded by killing her off i.e. having her die while giving birth to Judith. Sure, it went down the same way in the graphic novel, but it needed to happen on the show (or else we were going to stage a protest). But then again, long live Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), a character we hope never passes. (He has a good chance of survival since he was never in the book version of the series.)

For better or worse, we list the characters we think need to go — and we are not holding back here. Sorry, Carl. This is the apocalypse.
