You Never Realized How Much You Needed To See Benedict Cumberbatch Do a Taylor Swift Impression... Until Now
There's a reason why a certain subset of your friends loses their minds every time niche British TV finds its way on Netflix: Benedict Cumberbatch. The actor is having a breakout year, with Oscar buzz surrounding his portrayal of real life World War II hero Alan Turing in The Imitation Game (Nov. 28). In addition to his acting chops and beautiful face, Cumberbatch can carry a tune — in the style of Taylor Swift no less!
OK, The Imitation Game star can't really sing like Taylor — and his Beyoncé walk was much fiercer that that sorry impression — but we give him points for trying. During recent press for the upcoming film, the actor flexed his impersonation skills for MTV, rattling off a convincing take on a range of Hollywood icons.
Behold more of the Brit's cheeky moments, below.

Despite struggling with Christopher Walken (who is usually featured in Celebrity Impersonations 101), Cumberbatch wins us over with his Jack Nicholson and Michael Caine (even if learning how to do the latter is required of all Englishmen). Catch them all above.
Find out who from his Star Trek cast he'd bed, wed, or dead (yes, we know he's engaged but we can DREAM).
