Award-Winning Director Mike Nichols Dead at 83
Celebrated director and Hollywood icon Mike Nichols passed away last night at from cardiac arrest the age of 83. His works include The Graduate, The Birdcage, Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf, and Working Girl. Nichols was one of few who was honored with an Emmy, Oscar, Tony and Grammy award. He was also the husband of former ABC anchor, Diane Sawyer.
ABC News President James Goldston made the announcement yesterday evening and said, "No one was more passionate about his craft than Mike." Today, Hollywood honors his memory.
