Grumpy-Cat-2014-Christmas-Special-1_2014-06-11_21-46-24
It's been over two years since Grumpy Cat was introduced to the world. Which means this fuzzy feline overstayed her welcome by approximately a year and a half, and that's being generous.
The Internet sensation's priceless expression was so funny, it allowed her to make cat ladies cool again. But then things got creepy, and beyond irritating, when this cat became a legitimate celebrity. First, it was a cover on New York Magazine, then a front row seat at the MTV Movie Awards, and most recently, her own Lifetime movie, Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever. The horrible feedback of the movie speaks for itself. The madness needs to end.
While we wish we could stay in Grumpy's corner, let's all remember that she has just one expression. Just one, people! And now, that onetime charming face of disgust has gotten far too old. Hop into the gallery above to see how the cat's overexposure came to be in the last 24 months. If you aren't completely over her yet, you will be soon enough.
