Mike Myers Returns to SNL as Dr. Evil to Poke Fun at North Korea and Sony
Last nights opening of Saturday Night Live was one of its best in recent memory. First off, Taran Killam deserves a standing ovation for his scarily spot-on impression of Sam Smith for “A Very Somber Christmas” Special. He took on Smith’s popular “Stay With Me” hit with a holiday twist. We were hoping Taran would flex his vocals for the entire song, but the special was quickly interrupted by an unexpected PSA from Dr. Evil (Mike Myers) – yes, you read that correctly.
Myers reprises his beloved Austin Powers character and makes a long anticipated return to SNL to poke fun at the “Guardians of Peace” hackers, North Korea and Sony for giving evil a bad name. His jokes also include mocking the GOP and also making fun of Myers' own The Love Guru for being a box office disaster. To top off the brilliant skit, the world's most evil hairless cat Mr. Bigglesworth makes a cameo for all you Austin Power fanatics. Check out Myer's return to SNL below, and witness Dr. Evil back on the scene and as evil as ever.
