Vintage Bradley Cooper Roles You Probably Forgot About

Bradley Cooper is 40 years old today, and while he’s officially been walking this earth for four decades, he’s been gracing our television, laptop, and movie screens since the turn of the century. Did you know the Oscar nominee’s first big role was in Sex and the City when he smooched Sarah Jessica Parker? In case you need a refresher, here are some of Cooper’s vintage roles you most likely forgot about.

Sex and the City
Cooper’s first ever TV role came in the form of a chain-smoking badass named Jake. He appeared in the 1999 episode “They Shoot Single People Don’t They?” from Season 2, and hardcore made out with Carrie Bradshaw in a convertible (true badass fashion).

Wet Hot American Summer
With TV under his belt, Cooper made his debut on the big screen in 2001 when he played Ben in Wet Hot American Summer. The comedy, about a group of camp counselors who each have an agenda on the last day of camp, also starred Paul Rudd and Elizabeth Banks.

Jack & Bobby

From 2004 to 2005, Bradley was in 14 episodes of the fictional documentary TV series Jack & Bobby. He played Tom Wexler Graham, a charming and intelligent teaching assistant.

Law & Order
Bradley appeared on the “Night” and “Day” episodes of Law & Order: Trial by Jury and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2005. He played Jason Whitaker, an estate lawyer who serves as the defense attorney for an alleged serial rapist.
