Man Details His Love Affair and Sexual Relationship with a Dolphin in New Documentary

And you thought your love life was lacking. While you try to snag coffee dates on Tinder, 63-year-old Malcolm Brenner is telling the story of his year-long 1971 romance with a dolphin in the documentary short Dolphin Lover. Yes, it’s real.

Directed by Kareem Tabusch and Joey Daoud, the short film premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival last month. It chronicles the story of Brenner, then a Florida college student, and his relationship with Dolly the dolphin. This is no Dolphin Tale — stuff gets graphic. Brenner claims Dolly came onto him. “She announced her intentions to me by positioning herself so I was rubbing against her,” he told the Mirror UK. “I started rubbing her along her back, working my way to her flukes – her tail. And as I was rubbing her and moving my hand towards her tail, Dolly was slowly rolling around her long axis.” (We’ll spare you the penetration details.)

Brenner opens up on life after his “affair” and his five-year bout with depression following Dolly’s death, which he believes was a suicide after their time together ended. Since their “relationship,” he’s been married twice and claims he’s a “zoophile,” also having had sexual relations with a dog.

In the age of the Internet, it seems nothing is truly off limits. Watch the Dolphin Lover trailer below.
