Kylie Jenner Buys Herself a $2.7 Million Mansion Because She Can

Remember when you were blowing money on CDs and clothes from dELiA*s in high school? Today, famous teen Kylie Jenner is pouring millions of dollars in major real estate moves. The 17-year-old reportedly purchased a $2.7 million, 4,900-square foot Calabasas mansion, which pisses me off on so many levels.

I understand that her famous family members are multi-millionaires. What I have a hard time wrapping my head around, is why momager Kris Jenner — who preached working hard from day one — thinks Kylie has earned a nice house to call her own. Not just a house, a mansion. Are her parents' or siblings' mansions not good enough?

Before you jump on the defense and claim Kylie — who isn't even a legal — is a hard worker, think for a minute about what she actually does. I'm struggling to come up with anything myself, and I doubt her hair extension line is bringing in these checks. Kylie's not her sister, so a full-blown modeling career doesn't seem likely. As the youngest, I get that she may be working on creating a name for herself - and there's no rush - but let her buy a million dollar pad when she's done so.

More than anything, this just makes me sad. There are people out there in serious need — people working multiple jobs just to put food on the table, and all this money is wasted by a spoiled brat on something totally unnecessary. Maybe it's just me, but I can't remember a time when the American Dream meant having shit handed to you for doing nothing.

If anything, Kylie now has a place of her own to hide out in while people continue to insult her relationship.
