Cate Blanchett Just Told This Journalist What the Heck Is Up

During a Wednesday Cinderella junket, Channel Ten journalist Jonathan Hyla asked Cate Blanchett about her pet cat in the movie. She quickly looked around confused, and asked: "'That's your f--king question?" Huffington Post calls the encounter "cringe-inducing," but there's more to the story than Blanchett losing her mind.
"Okay, serious question, how were you able to get that cat to do what you wanted it to do on a leash?" asked Hyla, referring to the wicked stepmother's pet. "I tried to put my girlfriend's cat on a leash and it just never works for me!"
There Blancett sat, blank-faced and confused, turning around to look at her publicist, and responding: "That's your question? That's your f--king question?"
Awk-ward.
"Nice to meet you?," she added, before the two went into an uncomfortable tango of high-fives and waves.
To Hyla, it was all a grand old time.

Until publications started calling him out, causing him to clarify what actually went down between him and the actress.

From watching the interview, it seems there was a silly, comedic vibe from the beginning, seeing as how they talked about vodka and sex. Still, Blanchett's actions in the end seem ambiguous. Was she just joking around or actually f--king pissed? IT'S A MYSTERY.
