30 Song Titles You Probably Have Wrong

No, it's not called "Time of Your Life"

By Frank Donovan

Do you ever think of a song you want to hear, scroll through your library for a title, and think, “Damn, it’s one of those tracks with a random name that probably isn’t even a lyric! Why so tricky Smashing Pumpkins? Joni Mitchell? 4 Non Blondes?”

This list is dedicated to these misleading songs. We like to think of them as the opposite of Bill Withers’ “Lovely Day,” the easiest song title to remember in the history of music.

We hope this list of 30 counterintuitively-named tracks along with their correct titles will save you some mental anguish next time you’re just trying to hear a song and get on with your life. Enjoy!
