Tonight's episode of T.I. And Tiny: The Family Hustle was all about hard work. Shekinah was doing her best to prove the haters wrong, showcasing the best, non-ratchet side of herself, while Major was trying (with dad's help) to protect his baby toys from the evil clutches of King and Co. When it comes to stuffed animals, it's okay to fight. Know this.
Growing up the youngest in a house of six wild and unpredictable siblings (not to mention two larger-than-life parents), it's likely easy for Major to stay the "baby" of the Harris clan, bunk bed and all. When T.I. learns that his little man is getting bullied by his own brother, he sees a teaching moment--and the chance to show off his impressive balancing skills--at the same damn time.
T.I.'s Fatherly Wisdom: Don't Be Afraid To Stick Up For Yourself
Violence is never the answer, but you should always maintain a sense of pride and be strong enough not to let anyone else keep you down.
Typically the youngest child gets the brunt of his or her older siblings worst behavior. Name-calling, pranks, wedgies, you name it. In Major's case, King and his friends were icing him out from a coveted game, by way of "beating him up." While Tip doesn't want his son to get hurt--hence the Everlast boxing helmet--he definitely doesn't want the neighborhood to think that a Harris man can't defend himself. Besides, who hasn't engaged in a pretend "war" with stuffed animals? Why else do you think I kept my Beanie Babies for all these years?!
It may have been an unfair match-up, as Tip scaled his castle walls and shouted from the rooftops (literally) all so Major could kick back and play his video games. But that's love! In the end, Major let out some aggression on combatants, successfully secured some much-needed game time, and stood a little taller around the house. The loss of a sneaker*? Well that's just a "casualty of war."
*We are not entirely sure how many baby toys were harmed during this demonstration of manhood
