On tonight's episode of T.I. And Tiny: The Family Hustle, T.I. once again proved that he's experiencing the majority of the growing pains around the Harris house as his children get older. Like Messiah, Niq Niq has a friend of the opposite sex, which leads Tip to automatically assume his "baddie" of a daughter has a boyfriend.
Tiny repeatedly explains that Lamar is a good kid, and he and their baby girl are just friends, but T.I. can't relax until he sees this for himself. Armed with a trusted sidekick (Agent Major Harris), devices, a vehicle, and a person of interest, Tip hit the road to get a feel for the youngin' who dared to text his daughter. But did he go too far?
T.I.'s Fatherly Wisdom: A Responsible Parent Has Just The Right Amount Of Paranoia And Overprotection In Them
"Little boys when they turn 16 or 17 they begin to hunt little girls," Tip explains to Major, who's playing accomplice now, but soon enough will be the subject of daddy's future investigative efforts. "And they make them believe that they're in love and then they steal all of their sugar." Tip may have employed a GPS navigation system as part of TIP Investigative Services' inaugural mission, but it was only out of love. Niq Niq might be ready to take on the world with the OMG Girlz, but that doesn't mean Pops can't have a say in who she spends her time with.
Parents will never stop worrying about their kids, which means it's okay to follow their every move and scan their calls--so long as you aren't paying for a private investigator. Why pay for what you can do on your own? In Tip's mind, spying on one's children is a necessary evil, which requires all the fixins. So if you're going to to try this at home, remember that everyone in an Atlanta has a black pick-up. They'll never know it was you! Just make sure you opt for a non-itch disguise--take Major's word for it. Despite all that evidence, and the cuteness of Major while presenting it back at the ranch, Niq Niq said it best when it explaining how this should have gone down: "All you guys had to do was ask." Will Tip listen?
