Nick Gordon Says Bobbi Kristina Brown Had Miscarriages and Abused Drugs Before Her Death

"...she was just such a young fragile person," he said in a new interview.

In a new interview with Daily Mail, Nick Gordon drops several bombshells about his late girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown, who was found January 2015 unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta home, placed in a coma and passed away seven months later. According to Gordon, Brown suffered from miscarriages before her untimely death, which gravely affected her.

"We had a couple of miscarriages," he told Daily Mail. "We would have loved to have a kid but we weren't planning on it yet and she was just such a young fragile person it took a toll on her."

But that wasn't the only thing that took a toll, according to Gordon. The 26-year-old says Whitney Houston's death in 2009 was a major reason Brown started abusing drugs. "After her mom had passed she would use drugs to numb the pain she was feeling," Gordon said to the UK outlet.

This is something Gordon echoes in his upcoming interview with Dr. Phil, which airs April 28 and 29. (Check your local listings.) "It got really bad after Nippy [Houston] passed away," he said, Us Weekly reports. "It's unfortunate, but at the time it's the only way we knew how to deal with what had happened."

In the Daily Mail interview, Gordon also shares his side of what happened the day before Brown was found in the bathtub. According to him, the two got into an argument because Brown thought he was cheating. "I saw a couple of bottles of wine," he explained. "I thought she had just been drinking, maybe smoked a little. She was upset, we got into a little argument and then we made up and went upstairs and lay on the bed for about 45 minutes and did what adults do."

The next morning, Gordon discovered Brown's body, and everything else after that has been well-documented. "It was so traumatizing," he said. "I dropped to my knees and kept giving her chest compressions and blowing into her mouth."

Gordon is currently fighting a lawsuit filed by Brown's estate that claims he is the reason she passed away. The estate alleges he poisoned her with a "toxic cocktail" and left her in the tub--a claim Gordon's attorney says is "slanderous and meritless."
