The Game and Snoop Dogg Lead a Peaceful March to LAPD Headquarters in Wake of the Alton Sterling and Philando Castile Shootings

"#HUNT Movement, Hate Us Not Today."

Several celebrities, including The Game, have used their social media platforms to call for action in the wake of the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philandro Castile, two unrelated police shootings this week.

Early Friday, several hundred protesters decided to take that action as they peacefully marched in Los Angeles alongside the Game and Snoop Dogg in a hopeful attempt to engage in a discussion with the police department.

The Game kicked it off by calling all residents to join him and Snoop in their mission for justice. He captions a calling card urging all REAL men to join, regardless of race and religion.

Snoop continues to emphasize that the point of the march is simply to have a dialogue with the police department for a clear understanding of what is going on:

Salute to these men.

Update: The rappers ended up meeting with Mayor Eric Garcetti and LAPD Police Chief Charlie Beck and holding a press conference. Beck said, "We just had an extraordinarily powerful meeting, one in which walls came down, boundaries and barriers didn't exist, and for a moment we grieved commonly for the lives that had been lost."
