Martha and Snoop Get Their Roll On With These Delicious Sushi Recipes

"I ain't ever had my food dabbed before."

Looks like our man Snoop Dogg found another recreational use for his expert rolling skills. We can’t be mad at that!

Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party is back and the dynamic duo is once again stirring things up in the kitchen on Monday nights. This time the shenanigans are pretty real and raw as they borrow some culinary flair from the Far East. Tonight’s episode is a crash course devoted to all things sushi rollin’. What could be a more fitting activity for the Dogfather?

You may be intimidated by the idea of making your own sushi, but it’s time to shake that off. Martha Stewart and Snoop will prove to you how it’s as easy as one, two, thrizzle. Martha, Chef Abe and Mike Epps “get raw” with a smoked eel recipe that’s seductive and smoky. Using a smoke machine, Chef Abe “dabs” that eel to perfection – creating the perfect aphrodisiac in time for Valentine’s Day (fellas, that means you’ll definitely get some love after whipping this up.)

Snoop Dogg and guest star Kathy Lee Griffin team up with legendary Japanese chef Masaharu Morimoto for a ridiculously simple and delicious handmade roll. Morimoto’s Pineapple California Roll, or as Snoop calls it, the “Snoop Cali Fatty Kathy Bang Bang,” kicks the standard sushi flavors up a notch with a fruity bite. The real treat is chef Morimoto putting us on to the “cat hand” technique, which makes the task of getting rice evenly on the nori sheet easy breezy.

Grab your sake, sticky rice and your best “cat hand,” because it’s time to do the Sushi samba!

Check out this sneak clip from tonight’s episode and be sure to tune in to Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner tonight at 10/9c.
