Ciara Was Involved in a Scary Car Accident in Los Angeles

Ciara and Russell Wilson both issued separate statements confirming mommy and baby are uninjured following Ciara's car accident. A representative told TMZ, “The driver was illegally in the bus lane and hit the right side of her car.” According to E! News, neither Ciara nor the other driver were injured.

The newlyweds then hit the town over the weekend to celebrate the one year anniversary of their engagement. "Today Marks 1 Of The Best Days Of My Life. 3.11.16 #EngagementDay," Ciara wrote on Instagram. Russell celebrated with a heartwarming message of his own. "Today & Everyday will be our day. I Love You My Queen."

A very pregnant Ciara was involved in a car crash today, as reported by TMZ. Judging by the photos obtained by the celebrity news site, the "I Bet" singer doesn't appear to be seriously injured from the collision.

Witnesses say Ciara approached an intersection in her white Mercedes SUV and was making a left turn when her ride was T-boned on the front passenger side by another SUV. Once the police and fire department arrived, the she briefly indicated some pain in her chest and shoulder. However, photos taken by paparazzi show, she's walking and standing fine while talking on the phone.

Ciara is in her third trimester of pregnancy. The singer and her fiance Russell Wilson are looking forward to the birth of their baby girl. An official due date has not been confirmed by the couple, but insiders suspect the baby will be making her debut some time in early April.
