50 Cent and Courtney A. Kemp Praise Charlie Murphy's "Deliciously Evil" Performance on 'Power'

Move over, Ghost.

Power fans are in for a treat this upcoming season, and no were not talking about the fate of inmate Ghost. Fans of the show and the late Charlie Murphy, will witness his final performance on the small screen. In a sit down with VH1, 50 Cent and creator of the Starz drama Courtney A. Kemp remember the comedian and what to expect from his performance this season.

"When you get a chance to see what he actually did in the actual show you're going to be really blown away by it," 50 Cent reveals. "It was exciting to have him work with us at the point. I knew he was going through something at that point, but I didn't know exactly what it was."

Sadly, Charlie Murphy died earlier this year after a long battle with Leukemia.

So, how did the comedian land a spot on the Starz show? "He approached us, because he loved the show. He was a fan of the show, a real fan," Kemp reveals. "We wrote it for him. We wrote it for his voice, which you will be able to tell. She goes on to give us a peek into what to expect from his performance. "He is deliciously evil in the part that's all I'm going to say."
