Jay Z Addressed Mumble Rappers, Lemonade and Kanye on '4:44' and The Internet is Having a Field Day

Jay Z did not come to play with ya'll!

It's been four years since Jay Z released a studio album. In the wee hours of this morning, the rapper/mogul ended his musical dry spell with the release of his highly anticipated album 4:44. Now, we know the only time The Carters address highly personal or opinionated thoughts is on wax. So of course, there was a lot to unload here.

Let's start with what everyone was waiting for: his response to Lemonade. Hov was refreshingly honest in speaking about his marital transgressions brought to the surface on his wife Beyoncé's last project - and yes, Becky was addressed.

Another hot take from Jay Z that had the internet shook was him taking shots at the state of hip hop. The Brooklyn rapper delivered a witty pun at the expense of Future. Damn, that's gotta sting.

We also found out that Jay Z thinks most of these "new rappers" sound the same. Can't say we're surprised, though.

"Ya on the gram holding money to your ear, there's a disconnect we don't call that money over here."

And last but certainly not least, Jay Z gave Kanye West a dragging that some fans on social media feel is long overdue. The former collaborators and friends have had a shaky relationship ever since Jay and Bey famously skipped out on Kimye's wedding. Kanye went off the rails at last year's Saint Pablo tour, calling out Jay Z for allegedly not returning his calls and never introducing their daughters for play dates. We all know Hov doesn't take kindly to having his business aired out. In a new track called "Insane," Jay had to devote a few lines aimed at "señor Pablo."

"You walking around like you invincible/You dropped out of school, you lost your principles/I know people backstabbed you, I felt bad too."

Whew! Jay Z did not come to play with ya'll!
