JAY-Z Reveals That His Relationship With Beyoncé "Wasn’t Built on the 100 Percent Truth"

Hov, Jesse Williams, and other celerities have a LeMANade session.

JAY-Z has released another mini-documentary in the "Footnotes of 4:44" series for his new album, 4:44, and in the latest confessional video the Brooklyn rapper shares some shocking truths about his marriage with Beyoncé.

“This is my real life. I just ran into this place and we built this big, beautiful mansion of a relationship that wasn’t totally built on the 100 percent truth and it starts cracking," Hov reveals about his marriage. "Things start happening that the public can see.” He's most likely referring to the elevator incident with Solange years ago that gave us our first look into the rough patch him and Bey were going through.

He also admits that fighting for his relationship had been more challenging than his upbringing in Marcy Projects. “Then we had to get to a point of, ‘Okay, tear this down and let’s start from the beginning … It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” he continued.

JAY reveals that this relationship and feeling such a strong love for another person is new to him. “What is happening to my body right now? Did I just say … ‘Don’t leave’? All this is new for me,” he said, recalling a vacation with Beyoncé during which he begged her to stay.

This is definitely the most revealing JAY we've ever seen.
